Standard Cover is the most "basic" level of cover available and generally comprises impatient/Hospitalisation Care only, along with emergancy medical evacuation. This type of cover is designed to cover the major expenses.

A standard or basic scheme will usually cover:

in-patient or day care treatment
post hospital treatment,
nursing at home,
It will not cover out-patient, routine maternity or dental costs.
