AXA PPP international offers a range of Private medical Insurance plans for global expatriates and local nationals in countries worldwide.

Our key target customers range from individuals, whether they be expatriates starting life in a new country or local nationals wanting access to quality medical care, to corporate organisations of all sizes who want to protect their employees who move to foreign countries in order to support business objectives worldwide.

We realise that our customers have different requirements and have produced six different levels of cover to satisfy these needs:

      • ‘Standard’ plan offers similar in-patient and day-patient cover to the comprehensive option.

    • ‘Standard with out-patient' – Follows on from the excellent low cost Standard policy but adds an element of outpatient allowance. Limits on this now are combined overall outpatient allowance of £750 per person per annum. Within this vaccinations are limited to £150 and complementary practitioners are limited to £200 each year.

    • ‘Comprehensive’ plan provides comprehensive cover for in-patient, day-patient, out-patient benefits and non-routine dental treatment.

    • ‘Comprehensive with Dental’ – it replaces the current benefit on comprehensive and includes an 80% reimbursement of costs incurred up to a maximum of £1000. It also includes the routine checkups and the scale and polish but continues not to allow cosmetic treatment or treatment made necessary as a result of neglect.

    • ‘Prestige’ plan provides all the benefits of in-patient, day-patient, out-patient treatment and non-routine dental treatment. Prestige also offers the additional benefits of routine pregnancy cover, health screen, disability compensation cover and annual travel insurance.

    • ‘Prestige with Dental’ – it replaces the current benefit on comprehensive and includes an 80% reimbursement of costs incurred up to a maximum of £1500. It also includes the routine checkups and the scale and polish but continues not to allow cosmetic treatment or treatment made necessary as a result of neglect.

    • ‘Prestige Plus’ plan provides all the benefits of in-patient, day-patient, out-patient treatment and non-routine dental treatment. Prestige also offers the additional benefits of paid in full out-patient treatment, increased levels of routine pregnancy cover, chronic cover, health screen, disability compensation cover and annual travel insurance.

We utilise a broad range of technology to make customer interaction with AXA PPP International as easy as possible. Customers are able to contact us via secure e-mail, voice, fax and web technologies. We accept claims e-mailed or uploaded in any language or currency, making payments either to customers or directly to providers (hospitals), electronically or by cheque. We are able to advise on where local providers are situated and arrange for direct settlement whilst negotiating costs directly with hospitals.

In order to communicate with our customers from around the world, we have 28 different languages spoken on-site at Tunbridge Wells, and offer an interpretation service which provides immediate access to over 150 languages on the same call. A translation service is also available for all written communications and invoices.
