Dear April Medibroker Friend
Welcome to your April 2011 edition of the April Medibroker Newsletter where you will find the latest news, views and expatriate insurance providers features.
Expat News - Bank deposit and savings compensation schemes vary widely for expats it is not as clear-cut as it might be despite the compensation limited being equalised at the beginning of the year
Research shows that the amount of compensation paid in the event that a bank fails varies widely across the globe with the United States having the best deposit protection scheme while countries like Bahrain are much lower.
Expats need to remain on their toes over savings compensation rights, despite the higher €100,000 deposit compensation limit now in force in all European Economic Area (EEA) member states.
Also in the news a recent article in the Telegraph, Expatriates living in Australia might soon find that they are following the locals and looking for health insurance, triggered by long waits for state hospital treatment.
Staff Updates - We are pleased welcome back Emma Spellman and present Glynis Olive as the newest member of Client Services, both Emma & Glynis are committed to building on the excellent service we offer our clients.
UK Public Holidays - With only a few days until the holidays, we would like to let you know the details of our April/May opening times:

We will return to normal working hours on Tuesday 3rd May 2011, In the meantime, from all here at April Medibroker we would like to wish you all the very best.
None of our advisors are paid commission so you can rest assured that the advice that you receive is what is best for you, not what is best for them! Best of all it doesn't cost you anything!
Kind Regards,

Andrew Wilson, CEO April Medibroker
