The Medibroker International logo is missing something vital….

...and so is the UK
We’ve lost our ‘O’s, ‘A’s and ‘B’s to help raise awareness of the blood donor groups in short supply for National Blood Week.
There is a major shortage of donors in the UK, with half of those regularly giving blood over the age of 45.
In the last ten years the number of blood donors in England and Wales has fallen by 40%, and it’s important that younger people sign up to donate.
Giving blood can save lives. The NHS says it needs 204,000 new donors this year alone so they have enough blood - and variety of types - to meet demand.
In particular, they need more donors from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, who make up less than 5% of those who have donated blood within the last 12 months.
National Blood week runs from June 8 to June 14, with the hashtag #MissingType.
Brands like Green & Blacks, The Daily Mirror and Waterstones are also helping the cause and street signs around the UK are missing their ‘O’s, ‘A’s and ‘B’s.
