Background

After leaving school and collage studying Recreation & Leisure I embarked on a 17 year long career in the Travel & Tourisum industry ranging from overseas operations, head office operational support, field sales, account management, marketing and project management.

By using my experience of all aspects of the journey a customer takes as part of the holiday package research > purchase > fulfilment >  I have been able to apply a common sense approach to dealing with individuals & groups ensuring the process involved run as smoothly as possible.  

With the growth of new technology I developed a keen interest on how the web could be embraced to offer choice/speed and depth when dealing with all aspects of the customer journey from research to purchase and after service.

Following redundancy & the birth of my daughter (a coincidence I am assured) I began a consulting role working with Travel companies to advise on and embrace/implement  ways in which the Web could be used to promote their products and services to potential and existing customers and of course freeing up my time at home, 

Hobbies/Interests

I have a keen interest in football on a local and national scale although the years of turmoil are starting to show when following the local team.  When not working or reading up on the latest technology news and the effects it will have I like to switch off and spend time with the family.
