Background

After leaving school I carried on studying whilst working within administration. I then began working for a high street building society where I started as a Branch Assistant and quickly progressed to a Senior Mortgage Adviser. For personal reasons I travelled abroad for a time, before returning to the UK and relocating from the south of England

to the North. I worked within administration again, before getting back into the Mortgage Industry, where I processed mortgage and insurance applications and provided support to the Directors.

After being made redundant due to the credit crunch, I began working here at APRIL Medibroker. The aspects I enjoy most about the job, is that every customer is different, and has different insurance needs. I enjoy the challenge of obtaining the most suitable insurance for each and every person. Also, as we are not paid via commission I feel that I can be completely unbiased, which is very unique within a role like this.

Hobbies/Interests

I enjoy going to the gym 5 times a week. I like to catch up with family when I can, though not as often as I'd like as they are located throughout the UK. I am a big geek when it comes to crosswords etc! I am starting an Open University course in November 2009. I am a huge F1 fan, and attend the British GP each year - one year I'll get to Monaco!
